  Absolutely fabulous!
Hands down our favourite part of our honeymoon! These ladies know how to do food! We had the best afternoon on a lunch tour visiting their favourite haunts, learning about the italian way of life when it comes to food and wine, and trying all kinds of dishes. The food was absolutely delicious in every single restaurant we went too. We were in a small group which was really comfortable. I only wish that we had done it earlier in our trip so that we could return to some of the restaurants we visited. Both ladies were really friendly and made us feel very welcome.   The BEST food and wine in Italy !
This was EPIC. The 2 ladies who run this are such a giggle and superb at what they do. We loved it all , insane food, insane wine and such a laugh ! A must do in sorrento. So much food and wine !!! Very very reasonable.

  A must do in Sorrento
The Bella Sorrento Sera Progressive Dinner is so good that this was my second time booking. My first experience was with my mom last summer then again last week with my husband on our honeymoon. It is such a great way to kick off your trip to Sorrento. Not only are you provided with incredible food but you get to learn about the history and culture behind the food you are eating. It was really nice being able to try places off the beaten path and experience places where the locals go. Veronica and Lee are the best hosts and immediately make you feel welcome and part of the Sorrento family.

  Great night eating and learning about Sorrento.
Lee, our host, was charming and engaging with lots of local knowledge about the food, wine, people and history of Sorrento and Campania. We stopped at four different establishments for a series of great food and drink. We had antipasti/charcuterie, then pastas, then fantastic steak, dolce and then a night cap. These were places where Sorrento residents go - neighborhood places, not restaurants that focus on tourists. Through luck, we ended up being the only couple on the tour with Lee. So by the end of the night, it felt like a night out dining and chatting with an old friend, not a tour guide. Great night all around. Good idea to do early in your visit to Sorrento to get introduced to the town, people and food.

  Make time during a visit to Sorrento for the Gourmet Girls
First, all the food was delicious. The variety of restaurants was incredible and are some gems that might be missed without the wonderful Gourmet Girls. Second, Vanessa and Lee are the best. They are not just filled with information about Sorrento and the food scene there, but they are genuinely nice people that love their city and sharing stories about Sorrento and themselves. If you get a chance to visit Sorrento, you will not regret or forget spending the time with the Gourmet Girls. Thanks again Vanessa and Lee!

  Ohio Girls and the Gourmet Girls do Sorrento!
Bella Sorrento Sera tour with the GOURMET GIRLS. Highly, highly recommend this walking tour to Italian restaurants in a local neighborhood. The start of our tour was within a 10 minute walk from the main square. Our host, VANESSA, provided a history of the food in Sorrento. She was engaging and entertaining. Vanessa made us all feel so welcome to the neighborhood as did the proprietors of each restaurant. She takes you places you would never find without a local. We started our tour at 82 WINEBAR for wine tasting and small plates. This is a darling, small setting with lines down the street by the time we left. Our second stop was a family run eatery, MASTER HOSTS PIZZA AND PASTA, where the entire family works with pride. Their young children help serve. They were polite and so cute.Our main courses were served along with their local house wine which was delicious. The final stop was 4 EMME COFFEE & COCKTAIL. This delightful small establishment offered amazing martinis and amaretto coffee. Our small group of six was all girl friends from Ohio who have been friends for over 50 years. It was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip through Rome, Sorrento, Florence and the Amalfi Coast. The original tour was to be four restaurants but one was unexpectedly closed. It did not impact our evening as the second restaurant provided not only the main courses but the most delicious dessert.....thin pizza crust filled with Nutella and dusted with powdered sugar. Amazing!! We did not feel like we missed anything by not going to one of the restaurants. These tours are designed for small groups as the restaurants are small and quaint. Please consider this tour if you find yourselves in Sorrento. Ours was from 6-9 and was full of delicious food and good fun. Tell them the six crazy ladies from Ohio sent you!

  We will be back 2025 if lucky enough.
Fabulous evening with a great group of people. Vanessa & Lee were so entertaining & informative. The local places we were lucky enough to visit were superb- so much do that we had lunch at one place again today. Great night our-many thanks to all the restaurants; staff and “ gourmet girls “

  Full, buzzed and happy - Salute!
What a special evening in Sorrento! From the start Vanessa provide amazing customer service. I was traveling with quite a large group and really wanted to do their tour, I reached out to beg for consideration and luckily she was able to accommodate our group. Thanks Vanessa! Finally the day came and words cannot express the amount of fun, laughter and delicious food and wine had throughout the night! Lee explained the history, wine and food with great expertise!
